SESSIONS & FEES
Introductory Calls
This is a free 15 minute call with Ellen, prior to therapy, to get to know her and address any questions you may have.
Individual Therapy
A standard appointment consult is $220. These appointments are eligible for a Medicare rebate of $98.97 when clients have a mental health care plan from their GP.
Medicare - (Provider No. 1626931X)
To be eligible for a Medicare rebate a person must hold a Medicare card and be referred by a GP or Psychiatrist under the Better Access to Mental Health Scheme. If referred by a GP, this referral involves the preparation of a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) and may require you to book a longer appointment with your doctor. If the referral is made by a psychiatrist, a MHCP and a referral letter is required.
Telehealth
Telehealth sessions are available and are eligible for the same Medicare rebate as an in-person session. Medicare rebates are processed on the day of appointment.
Worker's Compensation & DVA
Clients may be able to access services free of charge if eligible under certain insurance schemes. Fig Tree Psychology accepts Worker's Compensation and DVA clients.
Private Health Rebate
Rebates may also be available from your private health insurance. The amount of rebate available varies across individual insurance providers and levels of cover. To determine the amount of rebate you may be eligible for prior to your first session, you will need to contact your health fund.
